Seared scallops on Datterini gialli in Catalogna sauce

PREPARATION

Mince thinly the “catalogna” and cook it into a pan with oil and 1 clove of garlic. Season with salt.
 
Sear the scallops for 1 1/2 minutes on each side into a pan with oil.
 
Meanwhile, heat the yellow datterini in its juice. Season with salt and pepper. 
 
Place a tablespoon of the yellow date tomatoes in each plate with the “catalogna”. Arrange a scallop on the top. Garnish with oil. Serve.

  • Yellow Datterino Tomato in its juice
  • 12 big Atlantic scallops
  • 1 jar of Datterini gialli in Così Com'è sauce
  • 1 bunch of Catalogna
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 chilli pepper
  • 20g of capers
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper
